The Wanhao Duplicator i3 refines a hugely successful Prusa i3 series of printers. Compared to the original, the Wanhao Duplicator i3 has a number of significant improvements. These include: 1) an all-metal frame which improves reliability and extends the printer’s service life, 2) the printing bed with a heating range of 60 – 100 °C which supports stable printing with ABS-type materials, 3) new extruder MK10.
Finally, the printer is supplied as a fully assembled product, not a kit. This greatly reduces the barriers to successful printing!

The Wanhao Duplicator i3 is an FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 100 microns. The surface finish is not as smooth as you get with the more expensive printers, but is more than enough for prototyping and household use.
