The ADIMLab Gantry i3 Plus is a personal FDM 3D printer kit. It is also known as HC Maker 7. It ships semi-assembled and is 90% pre-built. You’ll only have to put the frames together and connect the electronics wires to start printing in less than 10 minutes. It is made of extruded aluminum parts and it is sold at a very good price point considering its large format and quality-of-life features. It employs a large glass bed, dual Z-axis, filament detector, noise reduction pad, and motor silencer. It supports infinite upgrades and mods. It is a valid alternative to the popular Creality CR-10. It is mainly used by hobbyists, tinkerers, and students. It’s been used to print a wide variety of models, including functional parts, ornaments, everyday objects, and toys.
For example, one user 3D printed a Cthulhu Zenyatta figure. Rich in details, it shows a great print quality and high accuracy.

One user adopts the printer to create gears and connectors. Thanks to its dimensional accuracy and precision, it delivers good quality functional parts which work seamlessly.
The ADIMLab Gantry i3 Plus is an FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 50 microns. This way you can produce parts with smooth exterior surfaces. The direct drive extruder provides higher precision in retractions and better handling of flexible materials. The printer includes a dual Z-axis motor and a Y-axis with a stable dual track for more stability and accuracy. The vibration dampers on the steppers enable quiet operation.

ADIMLab Gantry i3 Plus prints with PLA, ABS, Wood, HIPS, PC, TPE, Flexible PLA and other materials.
The extruder comes with a fan for printing with PLA-type materials. By cooling the model down, it reduces warping, stringing and, generally, makes for higher quality prints.
The ADIMLab Gantry i3 Plus has a heated print bed made of glass, which makes it suitable for printing with ABS-type materials. Thanks to the 24V power output, both the hotend and the bed heat up quickly.
