Composer is a continuous carbon fiber professional desktop 3D printer series powered by the proprietary, patented Composite Fiber Coextrusion (CFC) technology as well as standard FFF 3D printing technology. It comes in two different models, the Composer A4 with a print bed of 297 x 210mm and the Composer A3 with a build plate of 460 x 297mm. Both models allow producing optimized composite structures characterized by high physical and mechanical properties. Final parts are stronger and lighter than parts with similar properties produced with metal, thermoplastics or non-optimized composites. Also, they can be produced at lower costs.

Thanks to this advanced technology, the printer is capable of reinforcing, solidifying and curing a variety of fiber-reinforced plastics in a one-step automated process. It is a closed-frame machine engineered with either a dual-nozzle print head with FFF extruder and a dual-nozzle print head featuring a CFC extruder. Through the dual-nozzle system, the CFC tool head continuously blends the matrix plastics with the proprietary carbon fiber filament. It is capable of controlling either fiber’s volume and direction. The final material features low porosity and excellent mechanical properties. The Composer also includes a removable glass heated bed, which lets you reliably print with high-temperature materials.

This professional 3D printer delivers anisotropic parts with complex shapes and accurate details. According to the manufacturer, these fiber-enriched resistant models are 15 times stronger than common plastics and 4 times lighter than titanium. This anisoprinted aircraft seat support bear weighs 40% less than the original parts produced with aluminum. It has been printed using PETG reinforced with Anisoprint Composite Carbon Fiber (CCF) 1.5k. It took 20.5 hours of printing.

Print quality

The Composer is a professional 3D printer series that can print layers at 60 microns. This way you can produce parts with smooth exterior surfaces. When printing with the FFF print head, it can reach a print speed of up to 80 mm/s. When using the CFC module, it reaches up to 10 mm/s. CFC continuous carbon fiber technology can print with a variety of thermoplastics, but it provides the best results when printing with PETG filament as a matrix.

It supports two different print heads, FFF and CFC, with a dual-nozzle system. The CFC extruder includes a reinforcing fiber cutting device.



Anisoprint Composer 3D printer can process filaments with a melting temperature of up to 270°C and a diameter of 1.75mm. It lets you print with PLA, ABS, PETG, PA(Nylon), TPU, PC, ASA SBS, and CF/GF filled filaments.

The printer comes with either a heated glass build plate and an enclosed print chamber, which makes it reliably printing with ABS, Nylon, Polycarbonate and other temperature-sensitive filaments. The removable build plate can heat up to 120°C, while the nozzles can reach a temperature of 250°C. The enclosure keeps the printing temperature stable minimizing the risk of warping or shrinkage.

Anisoprint supplies 1.5k and 3k Composite Carbon Fiber and Composite Basalt Fiber. These reinforcing fibers can be used with PLA, ABS, PETG, PA, TPU, PC, ASA, fiber-filled and glass fiber-filled filaments. 


Build volume

The Composer A4 has a build area of 11.7 x 8.3 x 5.5 inches (297 x 210 x 140 mm). The Composer A3 features a larger build volume of 18.1 x 11.7 x 8.3 inches (460 x 297 x 210 mm). According to your printing requirements, you might choose the building sizes you prefer.


Printer controls

The printer can be operated via a fitted LCD touchscreen. The A4 features a 3.5-inch touch display, while the A3 features a larger 4.3-inch screen. 

The print-ready models can be transferred from a USB-tethered computer or both via a USB stick and SD card. 

The Composer 3D printer comes integrated with the self-developed Anisoprint Aura software for both FFF and CFC 3D printing. The device is also compatible with Cura and Slic3r slicing software. The proprietary software runs on Windows 7+. It is packed with several thoughtful features for easy print management. For each layer, it generates reinforcing fiber trajectories. It lets you easily regulate the reinforcement scheme to increase the final strength of the part. Also, it creates support structures and provides a real-time preview of the final print.
