Print quality

The Anycubic Mega Zero is an FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 100 microns. The surface finish is not as smooth as you get with the more expensive printers, but is more than enough for prototyping and household use. It has an XY positioning accuracy of 0.0125mm and a Z accuracy of 0.002 mm.

Thanks to its firm structure and quality components, the Mega Zero can print within a speed range of 20 to 100 mm/s. For better results, the company suggests printing at 60 mm/s.

The Anycubic Mega Zero is a single-nozzle printer featuring a nozzle diameter of 0.4, which provides the best balance between print speed and detail.

The printer employs a dual-screw rod design for the Y-axis. This makes printing reliable, fast and precise.

Materials

Thanks to the double gear extrusion module powered by a strong torque, the Anycubic Mega Zero can print with PLA, TPU, HIPS and Wood filaments smoothly.

It features a Bowden feeder system with an operational extruder temperature of up to 250°C.

The Anycubic Mega Zero comes with an easy-leveling metal build plate (not heated) with ergonomic twisting knobs.

To ensure high reproducibility, we recommend installing an enclosed print chamber. This way the print quality would not be affected by temperature fluctuations as a result of drafts and other factors.

The Anycubic Mega Zero prints with third-party 1.75 mm filament, providing you with a wide choice of materials.

Build volume

The build area of 8.7 x 8.7 x 9.8 inches ( 220 x 220 x 250 mm) lets you produce a wide variety of small-to-medium sized smooth prints without the need of splitting them.

Printer controls

The printer can be operated via the independent control unit with an LCD screen and rotating knob integrated.

The printer works with STL, OBJ, DAE and AMF file formats. The print-ready files can be easily transferred to the printer via an SD card or via data cable (expert users only).

The Mega Zero supports the popular Cura slicing software, which is available for both Windows and Mac OS users.
