The Anycubic Photon Mono X2 is an upgraded version of the company’s high-resolution desktop LCD-based resin 3D printer Photon Mono X. The machine is aimed at better detailing of the printed models, improved speed and stability of printing.
To achieve these purposes, the printer is equipped with an advanced 4K Anycubic LighTurbo matrix light source with more uniform light exposure and top-quality hardware components. Compared to its predecessor, the Photon Mono X2 comes with a 9.1" monochrome screen with increased print area, resolution, and accuracy of the objects produced. The thoughtful build plate design makes for even more quality results.
Among other smart features, the machine offers a dedicated and replaceable anti-scratch film for the screen, highly intuitive software with a number of handy tools as well as compatibility with other popular slicers, and open material system that allows using a wide range of consumables with different properties to get the desired outcomes.
Due to its ability to produce highly detailed models in an intelligent, convenient, and cost-effective way, the Anycubic Photon Mono X2 satisfies the demands of both professionals and hobbyists and serves as a great tool for various creative spheres, including modeling, prototyping, low volume production, etc.
The Anycubic Photon Mono X2 model can print layers with heights ranging from 10 to 150 microns. Due to the advanced version of the self-developed LighTurbo matrix light source that projects UV light both parallel and perpendicular to the LCD screen, the device provides a more uniform light exposure that generally improves the quality of the printed models.
The machine is equipped with an industry-leading 4K monochrome LCD screen with 4096 x 2560 px resolution with up to 48 μm single-pixel accuracy, which is a 4% improvement over the Photon Mono X adding to the overall level of detailing. With a 350:1 contrast ratio, the Photon Mono X2 provides your 3D models with extremely sharp and clear edges and corners.
The printer is engineered with durable dual linear guides and a POM clearance nut combined with a vibration-absorbing structure to ensure stable production and the running accuracy of the Z-axis leading to reduced intensity of layer lines.

The Anycubic Photon Mono X2 offers a large build area of 7.8 x 7.7 x 5 inches (200 x 196 x 122 mm) with 4.8 L total volume, which is 3.8% larger than the Photon Mono X. It lets you produce a wide variety of small-to-medium sized smooth prints without the need of splitting them.
The Anycubic Photon Mono X2 3D printer features a 3.5" color TFT touchscreen with a clear menu structure and user-friendly interface. Data input is performed through the USB-A 2.0 port.
The device is powered by the free and regularly updated Photon Workshop software, an open-source code 3D slicer developed by Anycubic. The program is intuitive and extremely easy to use. It works with 3D models in STL and OBJ formats saved as the proprietary PWS / .photon files read by all Anycubic Photon printers. The slicer is available for Windows and macOS.
Moreover, the Photon Mono X2 is compatible with other slicing software, such as CHITUBOX and Lychee Slicer.
