The Artillery Genius Pro is a personal FDM 3D printer kit used by hobbyists and makers. As the name suggests, it is an upgraded version of the previously released Genius by the young Chinese company Artillery. The first thing to note is, the machine preserves all the advantages of the original Genius while adding many improvements. It has the same build volume of 220 x 220 x 250 mm, the 2.8-inch full-color touchscreen, connectors for a USB stick and an SD card, synchronized Z-axis lead screws with an exclusive coupler. Like the Artillery Genius, the print head of the Pro iteration sports a Titan-type extruder and a Volcano hotend, but the upgraded version also has a touch sensor, which enables auto bed leveling. The new Z carriages are made of metal.
The model boasts a 32-bit Ruby board that features high running speed and strong scalability. The Artillery Genius Pro uses four ultra-quiet drivers ensuring low-decibel working mode. Thanks to a special selector switch, the user can choose the voltage that goes to the heated bed (110V, 230V), which eliminates the issue of different electrical systems in different countries. The build plate itself is made of tempered glass and heats up to 120 °C in 3 minutes. The maximum print speed of the device is 150 mm/sec.

The Artillery Genius Pro is an FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 100 microns. The surface finish is not as smooth as you get with more expensive printers, but is more than enough for prototyping and household use.

The Artillery Genius Pro has a 0.4 mm Volcano nozzle which, along with the Titan extruder, gives you the best balance between speed and detail.
The print head runs on rods with linear bearings. This, in turn, makes the machine slower than some other printers. Moreover, since this is an assembly kit, there may be some play in the printer body.
The Artillery Genius Pro prints with PLA, ABS, flexibles, wood composites, and other materials.
The extruder comes with a fan for printing PLA-type materials. The fan cools the model during printing, which reduces warping and stringing issues.

The Artillery Genius Pro has a heated print bed, which makes it suitable for printing with ABS-type filament.
To ensure high reproducibility, we recommend installing an enclosed print chamber. This way the print quality would not be affected by temperature fluctuations as a result of drafts and other factors.
The Artillery Genius Pro cannot print high-temperature materials like PEEK, ABS/PC, PEI, carbon fiber or glass fiber. To print with these materials, the extruder temperature must exceed 300 °C, whereas the extruder on the Artillery Genius Pro has a maximum temperature of 464 °F (240 °C).
The Artillery Genius Pro prints with 1.75 mm filament, providing you with a wide choice of materials.
The build area of the machine is 220 x 220 x 250 mm (8.6 x 8.6 x 9.8 inches). Larger models can be printed in parts and then assembled using acetone (for ABS) or glue (for PLA).
The printer is controlled via PC or its built-in TFT display with an intuitive UI.
The product features the function of detecting filament runout/power loss and resuming printing after recovery. A prompt alarm will be given out ahead of filament runout, so you can print with assurance. The previous instructions will be automatically followed after the recovery of power, without omission or repetition, which proves to be efficient and convenient.
3D models can be printed from a computer over USB or using an SD card. The printer is compatible with Cura, Simplyfy3D, and Slic3r software.
The Artillery Genius Pro will prep your 3D model for printing, so the process is simple: design, prepare, print. The supported file formats include STL and OBJ; the operating system to be used is either Windows or macOS.

The Artillery Genius Pro is available in black with blue parts. Its stylish look makes it ideal for personal applications.
The printer dimensions are 17 x 15.3 x 23.2 inches (430 x 390 x 590 mm). It weighs 19.8 lb (9.6 kg). The spool is mounted on top of the device.
The price for the Artillery Genius Pro is $299.00, which is reasonable considering its functionality.
