The Creality CR-6 MAX is a desktop FDM 3D printer kit that features a huge build volume, which is the key difference between this model and its younger version, the CR-6 SE. In addition to a number of useful features such as auto bed leveling, photoelectric filament sensor and resume printing function, the machine boasts a reliable power supply, ergonomic extruder, and modular nozzle design for hassle-free maintenance.
The sturdy aluminum frame makes for improved stability and accurate outputs — the CR-6 MAX is equipped with a double-pull rod, dual Z and Y axes, and timing belts to reduce vibrations. The upgraded motherboard with excellent performance reduces the print noise. Thanks to the fast-heated carborundum glass platform, it is easy to remove a model without warping.
The device is perfect for both entry-level users and more experienced makers. It is used to produce household items, prototypes, accessories, tabletop models, souvenirs, and more.

The Creality CR 6-MAX is an FFF/FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 100 microns. The surface finish is not as smooth as you get with more expensive printers but is more than enough for prototyping and household use.

The Creality CR-6 MAX is equipped with a 0.4 mm nozzle, giving you the best balance between speed and detail. The nozzle can heat up to 260 °C, making it compatible with a broader range of filaments.
The print head runs on rails, which makes printing consistent, fast, and precise. Yet, there may be some play since this is a self-assembly kit.
The printer is compatible with a variety of filament types to choose from, including PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, and other filaments.
The extruder is equipped with an upgraded fan for printing with PLA-type materials. The fan cools the model during printing, which reduces warping, stringing, and other issues. Look at this coffee tamping station printed with silk PLA.

The Creality CR-6 MAX has a heated print bed, which makes it suitable for printing with ABS-type filament. (We also recommend installing an enclosed build chamber so the print quality will not be affected by temperature fluctuations as a result of drafts and other factors.)
The device prints with standard 1.75 mm filament. You can pick the material you prefer from any vendor, benefiting from a wide material choice.

The Creality CR-6 MAX can be controlled by navigating through a user-friendly 4.3-inch HD color touchscreen.
3D models can be printed from an SD card or a PC via a tethered USB cable. The CR-6 MAX can be used with several slicing software solutions: apart from Creality Slicer, the manufacturer recommends using Cura, Repetier-Host, and Simplify3D. It works with STL, OBJ, and AMF file formats. The printer software runs on Windows and macOS operating systems.
