The Creality Ender-3 Pro is a personal FDM 3D printer kit used by hobbyists, students, tinkerers, and makers. It arrives as a flat-pack but it is really simple to assemble. Some parts come already pre-assembled, the components are all labeled and the instruction manual is clear and detailed making the assembly a snap. According to All3DP, the Ender-3 Pro is the best 3D printer under $300. It is entirely upgradable and delivers great print quality. Even if it is a budget printer, it includes a bunch of professional features, namely, a magnetic bed, a power recovery function, and a tight filament pathway which allows printing with flexible filaments. It’s been used to print a wide variety of models, including toy models, functional tools and parts, and decorations.

For example one user printed Mjölnir, best known as the Hammer of Thor, using this printer. It shows highly-detailed, precise engraved letters and smooth surfaces. Let’s print yours to possess the supreme power of Thor.

Print quality

The Creality Ender-3 Pro is an FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 100 microns. The surface finish is not as smooth as you get with the more expensive printers, but is more than enough for prototyping and household use. The sturdy aluminum frame ensures more stability and durability providing high-precision printing results.

The Creality Ender-3 Pro has a 0.4 mm nozzle, giving you the best balance between speed and detail.

Materials

Creality Ender-3 prints with PLA, ABS, TPU and other materials.

The extruder comes with a fan for printing with PLA-type materials. By cooling the model down, it reduces warping, stringing and, generally, makes for higher quality prints.

The Creality Ender-3 Pro has a C-MAG heated print bed, which makes it suitable for printing with ABS-type materials. The removable and flexible hotbed shows a textured surface which enhances printing adhesion and helps removing the prints from the plate.

To ensure high reproducibility, we recommend installing an enclosed print chamber. This way, with no openings, the print quality would not be affected by external temperature and humidity fluctuations as a result of drafts and other factors.
