eSUN bronze is a PLA composite produced by the Chinese filament maker eSUN. It is part of the proprietary metal series along with eSteel, eAl-fill, and eCopper. eSUN bronze is produced by infusing micronized bronze particles into eSUN standard PLA. It is an eco-friendly recyclable material with good mechanical properties and low shrinkage and warping rates. As a PLA composite, eSUN bronze filament has been optimized for easy printing on either desktop and professional 3D printing systems with no need for a heated platform.
This low-temp consumable features a high Young’s modulus, which provides great toughness and stiffness. It can be used to produce a wide variety of sturdy 3D models with a metallic bronze finish, including functional tools, home decorations, busts, and weapons. Its good mobility streamlines the extrusion process granting smooth operation.
eSUN bronze comes in 0.5kg spools. The filament is characterized by a perfect round shape with an accurate and uniform diameter of 1.75mm. Its good quality reduces the risk of printing failures caused by nozzle clogging and filament jams.
For example, it has been used to produce some flash drive cases inspired by Historical Arabic Coins of the Umayyad Period. As you can see, the final result is really cool.

The eSUN bronze is supplied in 0.5kg filament spools. The clear bobbin lets you immediately check the amount of filament left for printing. Each spool comes in a resealable bag with desiccant to preserve the material properties over time.
