eSUN eAl-fill is a PLA composite produced by the Chinese filament maker eSUN. It is a metallic filament produced by infusing micronized aluminum particles into eSUN standard PLA. It is an eco-friendly recyclable material easy to print and safe. Indeed, it doesn’t emit fumes or odors. It features good mechanical properties and low shrinkage and warping rates. As a PLA composite, eSUN eAl-fill filament has been optimized for easy printing on either desktop and professional 3D printing systems. It melts at low temperatures and doesn’t need a heated bed for printing.
It lets you produce high-quality complex parts with an aluminum metallic texture after polishing and no warped edges. Easy to process, it minimizes the risk of clogging and jamming. It is widely used for the creation of sculptures, functional tools, products for daily use, and more. When printing with eAl-fill, the manufacturer suggests using large nozzles of 0.4 mm or above.
eSUN eAl-fill comes in 0.5kg spools. The filament is characterized by a perfect round shape with an accurate and uniform diameter of 1.75mm. Its good mobility makes it flow smoothly delivering accurate outputs.
The picture below is a good example of the aluminum-textured finish achievable when printing with eAl-fill.

The eSUN eAl-fill is supplied in 0.5kg filament spools. The clear bobbin lets you immediately check the amount of filament left for printing. Each spool comes in a resealable bag with desiccant to preserve the material properties over time.
