eSUN eCopper is a PLA-based 3D printing material infused with 60% copper particles. It is a non-conductive filament characterized by low melting temperature and good fluidity. It flows smoothly featuring a low shrinkage, warping, and curling rate. When polished, eCopper-made prints show a glossy metallic finish.
eCopper is environmentally friendly and odorless. Its low molding temperature results in accurate prints with clean surfaces and no warped edges. It can be used in small spaces by anyone, from beginners to makers and 3D printing experts. As a PLA composite, it can be printed on any FDM 3D printers without the need for special equipment.
It allows creating tough products with a copper metallic look just after polishing. The filament is characterized by a perfect round shape with an accurate and uniform diameter of 1.75mm. Its good quality reduces the risk of printing failures caused by nozzle clogging and filament jams. eSUN eCopper comes in 0.5kg spools.
One user realized a copper cup using the PLA-based eCopper filament. Easier to process than real copper, it delivered a smooth surface finish and a glossy appearance.
