eSUN eSteel is a PLA-based 3D printing material produced by the Chinese eSUN. It is part of the own-brand metal series along with eSUN bronze, eAl-fill, and eCopper consumables. eSUN eSteel is produced by infusing micronized stainless steel powder into standard PLA. It is an eco-friendly recyclable material with outstanding mechanical properties and low shrinkage and warping rates. As a PLA composite, eSUN eSteel filament has been optimized for easy printing on either desktop and professional 3D printing devices with no need for a heated platform.
It allows producing high resistant, tough parts with a steel appearance and no warping or cracking issues. This robust consumable provides great toughness and stiffness. It can be used to produce a wide variety of sturdy 3D models with a metallic finish after polishing, including functional tools, home decorations, busts, and weapon replicas. Its good mobility streamlines the extrusion process granting smooth operation.
eSUN eSteel comes in 1kg spools. The filament is characterized by a perfect round shape with an accurate and uniform diameter of 1.75mm. Its good quality reduces the risk of printing failures caused by nozzle clogging and filament jams.
