eSUN natural HIPS filament is a soluble 3D printing material used to produce support structures and standalone products alike. It has mechanical properties similar to ABS while being stronger than it. It is a professional yet budget consumable widely compatible with FDM printers equipped with a heated bed.
eSUN natural HIPS can be combined with ABS for printing intricate geometries, overhangs and interior cavities using dissolvable support structures. It features a low warping rate and a low water absorption rate. It allows hands-free removal by dipping the printed models in Limonene. It delivers clean and smooth surfaces. Printing with a PEI build surface will strongly increase the layer adhesion. It comes in a vacuum-packed bag coiled around a 3kg spool.
The 3D printed skull pictured below is an example of the results achievable when printing with eSUN HIPS filament. The eye cavities along with the jaw have been realized adding support structures then dissolved in Limonene. On the left, you can see an example of the final surface finish.
The eSUN natural HIPS is supplied in 3kg filament spools. Each spool is vacuum-packed in a desiccant bag for storage and freshness.
