eSUN solid black PETG is a 3D printing filament designed starting from the Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) formulation. Unlike its precursor, it contains glycol, a chemical compound added to the original formulation during polymerization. eSUN PETG combines the benefits of PLA and ABS filaments. Indeed, it is a simple-to-print consumable with a clear appearance and good gloss. Flexible and highly impact-resistant, it features good mechanical strength and toughness. Also, it can withstand fairly high temperatures.
PETG is transparent, recyclable, odorless and hydrophobic. Thus, it should reduce the risk of nozzle clogging. Good layer adhesion, low shrinkage and warping rates are some of its core features. It gives the model a nice glossy finish while granting consistent outputs.
eSUN 1.75mm solid black PETG is compatible with a variety of desktop and professional FDM 3D printers. It can be printed with or without the use of a heated platform. You can use to create resistant yet flexible parts with good durability. It has been used to print food containers, electronics, cosmetics packaging, and more.
This Paris Lamp is part of a 124-hour torture test on a Prusa i3 mk3 3D printer. It has been printed at 0,2mm layer height, 25% infill, 1,5mm retraction and NO Z-hop using the eSUN solid black PETG filament.

The eSUN solid black PETG is supplied in 1kg transparent filament spools. The clear bobbin lets you constantly monitor the quantity of material left while printing. Each spool comes in a resealable bag with desiccant, which keeps the filament dry and free from dust.
