The Flashforge Adventurer 4 has a default 0.4 mm nozzle, giving you the best balance between speed and detail. According to its specs, it can heat up to 200 °C in only one minute (the max. temp being 240 or 265 °C). The nozzle can be easily replaced by an optional 0.3 or 0.6 mm one.
The print head runs on rods with linear bearings, making the design more simple, lightweight, and effective.
The Flashforge Adventurer 4 prints with PLA, ABS, PETG, PC, and other materials.
The extruder comes with a turbofan for printing PLA-type materials. The fan cools down the model during printing, which reduces warping and stringing issues.

Unlike many FDM printers, the Flashforge Adventurer 4 has a heated print bed and an enclosed build chamber, which means it can reliably print with ABS-type materials.
Yet, the device cannot print high-temperature filaments like PEEK, ABS/PC, PEI, carbon fiber or glass fiber. To employ these materials, the extruder temperature must exceed 300 °C.
The Flashforge Adventurer 4 prints with 1.75 mm filament, providing you with a wide choice of various materials no matter the manufacturing company.
The Flashforge Adventurer 4 offers a quite decent build volume of 220 x 200 x 250 mm (8.6 x 7.8 x 9.8 inches). Larger models can be printed in parts and then assembled using acetone (for ABS) or glue (for PLA).
