The Flashforge Adventurer 4 Lite is a desktop FDM 3D printer with an enclosed build chamber and a variety of helpful features. As the name suggests, the machine is a more affordable version of the Adventurer 4 model. The Lite modification features a glass build plate instead of the flexible magnetic plate of the Adventurer 4. Heated up to 110 °C, the glass surface with the underlying 8 mm flat aluminum platform ensures perfect first layer adhesion and easy part removal without spending time on a long calibration process. Yet, if you are not happy with the distance between the nozzle and the print bed, you can use the 9-point auto bed calibration and manually adjust the Z-axis height in each of the 9 points with the help of the leveling card.
The extruder is equipped with a 0.4 mm nozzle that can reach 240 °C (compared to the Adventurer 4’s 265 °C). The patented buckle design allows for a quick and tool-free nozzle replacement. You can easily switch to a 0.3 or 0.6 mm nozzle with the maximum temperature of 265 °C to have a wider choice of filaments to print with. One more difference from the Adventurer 4 model is the lack of a built-in camera and HEPA 13 air filter. Otherwise, the Adventurer 4 Lite boasts the same rich functionality and high print quality as its more expensive counterpart.
Due to the enclosed build chamber the machine is safe for home use with children and for educational purposes at schools. The transparent front door with a magnetic latch provides easy access to the build chamber and allows watching the printing process. Such features as filament runout detection and print resume function add to the convenience of use. The Flashforge Adventurer 4 Lite comes fully assembled, you only need to plug it in, and it is ready to start.

The printer’s hardware is designed for stable and reliable operation, featuring dual vertical and horizontal linear rails and two lead screws on the Z-axis.
The Flashforge Adventurer 4 Lite can print layers with a minimum height of 100 microns. With the enclosed build chamber preventing temperature fluctuations, the user can get consistent high-quality results with every print.

The printer comes with a 0.4 mm nozzle that can heat up to 240 °C. This allows printing with various PLA-type plastics, metal-filled, wood, ABS, and other filaments. The heated print bed and the enclosed build chamber ensure reliable printing with ABS plastics. Besides that, being an open material system, the Adventurer 4 Lite is compatible with a wide range of 1.75 mm filaments regardless of the manufacturer.
The possibility to use nozzles of different diameters with the maximum temperature of 265 °C increases the number of compatible materials, adding PC and PETG filaments to the list.
The build volume of 220 x 200 x 250 mm is larger than that of the previous Adventurer 3 model, and is spacious enough for most consumer projects.
The Adventurer 4 Lite can be operated via a full-color 4.3" LCD touchscreen with an intuitive UI and convenient navigation. You can send the printing task to the machine using a USB drive or from the PC via Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection. The printer can work with cloud-based printing services, such as FlashCloud and Polar 3D.
The proprietary FlashPrint software supports 3MF / STL / OBJ / FPP / BMP / PNG / JPG / JPEG file formats and offers a number of settings both for beginners and advanced users. FlashPrint also allows the user to manage multiple 3D printers, which can be useful in case you are running a print farm.
