Flashforge Finder 2.0 is a consumer-grade, economic FDM 3D printer particularly suitable for 3D printing amateurs and kids. Ready to print right off the bat, this pre-built device shows a safe enclosed design with rounded corners and all the heated parts encased and protected from the touch. The enclosure makes for quiet and clean operation (50 dB), which is great when printing at home. The 2.0 model is an upgrade of the original Finder, sharing the same ease of use, safety, and affordability of its predecessor.
As a perfect companion for home and educational projects, the entry-level FlashForge Finder 2.0 comes bundled with a set of features designed to make the 3D printing experience easy for all users. It includes a removable non-heated print bed that can be quickly calibrated using the automatic leveling function. The filament run-out detection system alerts you when the material is about to end. All the operations can be performed and managed through an intuitive touch-screen placed on the top front of the machine. Also, the Wi-Fi connectivity enables wireless printing, even on Cloud.
To enhance its safety, this single-extrusion machine prints with non-toxic PLA, Wood, and TPU 95. The Flashforge Finder 2.0 is an FDM desktop 3D printer that can print layers at 100 microns. The surface finish is not as smooth as you get with the more expensive printers, but is more than enough for prototyping and household use. The device can print at up to 100mm/s. The end-of-the-filament sensor prevents printing failures due to material run-out.
These two models are an example of the output quality achievable.

The print head travels along rods with linear bearings, making the construction more simple, lightweight and effective, all characteristics that are desirable in a 3D printer.
The Flashforge Finder 2.0 prints with PLA, TPU 95, and Wood.
It is equipped with a patented single extruder designed to produce smooth and fine surfaces. The extrusion unit includes a finder ring air distribution system, which helps with the cooling of PLA-made models. By cooling the model down, it reduces the risk of warping making for a better modeling effect.
The slide-in print bed makes the print removal easier. It also minimizes the risk of cracks.
The Flashforge Finder 2.0 prints with 1.75 mm filament. The filament spool is housed inside a dedicated built-in filament box. You can only print with bobbins that fit the box dimensions.
The build area is 5.5 x 5.5 x 5.5 inches (140 x 140 x 140 mm). It lets you produce a variety of small parts and models in one piece. Larger models can be printed in parts and then assembled using acetone (for ABS) or glue (for PLA). This Indominus Rex is an example.
