The Flying Bear P902 is an assembly kit. When assembled, it’s a functioning printing machine with one extruder, a heated platform and an LCD-display. The building volume is 220 x 220 x 280 mm.

This 3D printer works with a wide array of materials available on the market. It has been used to print a wide variety of models, including the top of a windshield washer fluid tank. 

Check it out in the example below.

During a cold winter, the tank’s top got broken. It became too thick on one side. As a result, the car’s owner had to open it with the help of a screwdriver every time he needed to refill the tank. After buying the FlyingBear P902, he modelled and printed his own version.

As the owner claims, the new top turned out to fit even better than the original one. The model was printed with TPU filament. Below you can see both tops. The blue top is the original one, the red top is the 3D printed version.

Print quality

The FlyingBear P902 is an FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 50 microns. This way you can produce parts with smooth exterior surfaces. So smooth that you can even see patches of reflected light on the 3D printed lamp below.

The FlyingBear P902 has a 0.4 mm nozzle, giving you the best balance between speed and detail.

The print head runs on rods with linear bearings, making the design more simple, lightweight and effective, all characteristics that are desirable in a 3D printer. Its metal body reduces the likelihood of any play, making printing more precise and reliable.

Materials

FlyingBear P902 prints with PLA, ABS, PETG, Wood, PVA, Flex and other materials. 

The extruder comes with a fan for printing with PLA-type materials. By cooling the model down, it reduces warping, stringing and, generally, makes for higher quality prints.

One maker, @claire_keeply on Instagram used the FlyingBear P902 3D printer to create this Groot. At first, she printed the 3D model and then decorated it.

The FlyingBear P902 has a heated print bed, which makes it suitable for printing with ABS-type filaments. The same Instagram user printed these mobile holders with both ABS and PLA. As you can see, they are perfectly functional!

To ensure high reproducibility, we recommend installing an enclosed print chamber. This way the print quality would not be affected by temperature fluctuations as a result of drafts and other factors.
