Black Resin is a matte photopolymer that gives the models a clean finish and opaque appearance. It is one of the Greyscale 3D printing materials produced by Formlabs, and it is one of the most renowned own-brand Standard Resins. It has been formulated to be used without the need for post-curing. This means you might use the final models right off the printer. Nevertheless, in case of post-curing, the parts will become stronger.

Formlabs Standard Resins are all-purpose materials ideal for a variety of applications. They have been designed to produce stiff and precise parts. For example, Black Resin is widely used by designers, engineers, architects and other professionals for rapid prototyping and design proofing. It is perfect for printing products with small details and features. Continue reading our complete review.
