The Shining 3D Freescan UE7 is a metrology-grade 3D scanner that features an accuracy of 20 microns and a volumetric accuracy of 0.02 mm + 0.04 mm/m. The device can measure 650,000 points per second.
If combined with DigiMetric, the UE7 scanner ensures a volume precision of 0.02 mm + 0.025 mm/m.
The Freescan UE7 is able to capture an area of 510 x 520 mm. By moving the scanner over the object, you’ll be scanning fairly large parts at a consistent speed. The device features a stand-off distance of 500 mm and a depth of field of up to 700 mm.
The Freescan UE7 works wired to an external computer via USB 3.0. The collected data can be post-processed using the proprietary Shining 3D scanning program. It can export files in a variety of formats, including STL, OBJ, PLY, 3MF, and more. It is also compatible with popular inspection software like Geomagic Control X, Verisurf Inspect, and Einsense Q.
