The Funmat Pro is a large-format, FDM professional 3D printer. It is a sturdy device composed of industrial-grade components, which make it ultra-precise and accurate. It has a huge build volume of 450 x 450 x 600mm, letting you print high-quality, big parts in one go. It features an aluminum plate coated in high borosilicate glass equipped with an assisted leveling mechanism. The bed heats up to 120°C avoiding print warps. It supports various functional filaments reinforced by fiberglass and carbon fiber, giving you the possibility to create strong and durable objects in no time. You can produce full-size functional tools with performance materials with ease. It’s successfully used in prototyping and small-scale manufacturing. Find out more in our review.
The printer is widely adopted for industrial applications. Several companies have been using it to speed up the production process, maximizing their profits. For example, they generally 3D print jigs and fixtures for driving down cost, lead time and weight. At the same time, additive manufacturing helps them to improve job security.

The Funmat Pro is an FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 50 microns. This way you can produce parts with smooth exterior surfaces. It can print with a variety of performance filaments. Its multi-material capability is due to a first-rate thermal design, which combines a 60°C constant temperature chamber, 120°C heat bed, and 280°C all-metal hotend. It lets you create useful, high-strength parts in-house.
The Funmat Pro has a 0.4 mm nozzle, giving you the best balance between speed and detail.
The print head runs on rods with linear bearings, making the design more simple, lightweight and effective, all characteristics that are desirable in a 3D printer.
Funmat Pro prints with Nylon, PC, ABS, ASA, PA/CF, Carbon/Fiberglass-Filled and other materials.
The extruder comes with a fan for printing with PLA-type materials. By cooling the model down, it reduces warping, stringing and, generally, makes for higher quality prints.
Unlike many FDM printers, the Funmat Pro has a heated print bed and closed print chamber, which means it can reliably print with ABS-type materials.
The Funmat Pro adopts an open material system, being able to print with third-party 1.75 mm filament. It provides you with a wide choice of materials.
The build area of 17.7 x 17.7 x 23.6 inches (450 x 450 x 600 mm) lets you print large, unibody parts with ease.
The printer is controlled via PC or the built-in LCD interface.
3D models can be printed from computer via USB and SD Card.
The Funmat Pro comes with a license for the in-house IntamSuite software. The program is a revised version of the popular Cura slicer. The program works with STL and OBJ files. It can be easily downloaded from DropBox or on the INTAMSYS official website. It is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac.
