The Funmat Pro HT is an FDM professional 3D printer. It is one of the most powerful devices made by Intamsys. Aimed at the professional market, it employs advanced features usually adopted by industrial devices only. For instance, it comes with a pre-built, fully-enclosed structure with an insulated and heated printing chamber. Among its smart features, you can find the filament run-out detection system, the power resume function, and the integrated camera for remote monitoring. It’s successfully used in prototyping and small-scale manufacturing. For example, it was used by Sichuan Ju An Hui to print the Bionic Knee Brace shown in the picture below. Made in PEEK, the device is used to protect users from injury. Keep reading to find out more about the Funmat Pro HT.
Look at the high definition of this functional part. Its clean edges and accurate shapes highlight the printing capability of the Funmat Pro HT.
The Funmat Pro HT is an FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 50 microns. This way you can produce parts with smooth exterior surfaces. The chamber temperature along with the extrusion and heated bed maximum temperature ensure high-quality results with high-temperature filaments, like PEI, PEEK, and UTEM. Indeed, this kind of material strictly requires high temperatures to avoid printing failures.
The Funmat Pro HT has a 0.4 mm nozzle, giving you the best balance between speed and detail.
For example, these PEEK-made mechanical cogs show high dimensional stability and regular surfaces.
The print head runs on rods with linear bearings, making the design more simple, lightweight and effective, all characteristics that are desirable in a 3D printer.
Funmat Pro HT prints with ABS, Fiberglass, Nylon, PEEK, ULTEM and other materials. PEEK is a well-known, industrial-grade material that features high strength, toughness, flexibility, wear and chemical resistance. That is the reason why it is widely used for electronics, aerospace, and medical applications.
The extruder comes with a fan for cooling the model down while printing. It reduces warping, stringing and, generally, makes for higher quality prints.
Unlike many FDM printers, the Funmat Pro HT has a heated print bed and closed print chamber, which means it can reliably print with ABS-type materials. The chamber heats up to 120°C. Thus, it can print the most demanding filaments without warping or shrinkage issues.
The extruder has a maximum working temperature of 842 °F (450 °C), which means it can print high-temperature materials like PEEK, ABS/PC, PEI, carbon fiber and glass fiber.
The Funmat Pro HT adopts an open material system for printing with generic 1.75 mm filaments. You can freely pick the material you prefer from any vendor and start creating your creative designs with ease.
The build area is 17.7 x 17.7 x 23.6 inches (450 x 450 x 600 mm). It lets you print large parts with high temperatures ensuring smooth and optimized results.
The printer can be controlled either via PC, through a USB connection, or directly via a built-in LCD touch screen. The display shows all the main printing settings. You can easily adjust them in one touch.
3D models can be printed from a computer or via SD card and USB drive. You can keep an eye on the printing progress via the printer’s built-in camera.
The Funmat Pro HT comes with a license for IntamSuite, the Intamsys proprietary slicing software. It works with STL and OBJ 3D models. The program is compatible with Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.

Funmat Pro HT is available in a blue and grey color theme. Its stylish look makes it ideal for professional use and advanced applications.
The printer dimensions are 37 x 33.9 x 50 inches (940 x 860 x 1270 mm). It weighs 661 lb (300 kg). The spool holder is mounted inside.
