The JGAURORA A5 is a personal FDM 3D printer used by hobbyists and students. It ships mostly pre-assembled and its construction process is reasonably simple. You’ll only have to screw two main parts together and it will be ready to print in minutes. It is a medium-sized machine with a robust metal frame. It is capable of printing large prints with good resolution at a low-price point. As its little counterpart, the JGAurora A3S, it features the Black Diamond Glass heated bed with a pre-installed adhesive sticker which improves print adhesion. It includes two interesting features: resume print after power outage and filament spout detection. The power recovery function gives you the possibility to continue your print where it left off. The run-out sensor informs you when the filament is about to finish. It’s been used to print a wide variety of models, including buildings, masks, functional tools, fashion accessories, and more. One user decided to print an intricate city perched on a rocky moon. The printer had some work to do. Even if it is not perfect, the final model shows enough tiny details and looks really good.

The JGAURORA A5 is an FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 100 microns. The surface finish is not as smooth as you get with the more expensive printers, but is more than enough for prototyping and household use. Its smart features avoid print failures, while the improved hardware produces high-resolution prints.

JGAURORA A5 prints with PLA, ABS, PETG, HIPS, Wood and other materials.
The extruder comes with a fan for printing with PLA-type materials. By cooling the model down, it reduces warping, stringing and, generally, makes for higher quality prints.

The JGAURORA A5 has a heated print bed coated on glass and adhesive surface, which makes it suitable for printing with ABS-type materials.
To ensure high reproducibility, we recommend installing an enclosed print chamber. This way the print quality would not be affected by temperature fluctuations as a result of drafts and other factors.
The JGAURORA A5 prints with 1.75 mm filament. Its open-nature makes it fully compatible with third-party filaments, providing you with a wide choice of materials and great design flexibility.

The build area of 12 x 12 x 12.6 inches (305 x 305 x 320 mm) lets you print just about anything.
For example, one user has been able to print a multicolored, large boat. That’s a great printing result.

The printer is controlled via a high-definition, full-color touchscreen. It enables managing all the printing settings in a fast and easy way.
Thanks to its integrated connectivity ports, the printer supports both online and offline printing. 3D models can be printed from a USB-tethered computer or via SD card.
Even if the printer comes with the JGCreat software, the manufacturer recommends using Ultimaker Cura slicer to prepare your printing models. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS and works with the most popular 3D model formats. The printer is also compatible with other major, open-source slicing programs.
