Daylight Dental Model is a white photosensitive resin that polymerizes when exposed to visible light. It has been optimized for printing on PhotoCentric Liquid Crystal printers, providing optimal imaging and high-resolution, detailed prints with clean surfaces and crisp edges.
It is tailored to dental applications. The company designed and tested it with the aid of Dental Technologists. It delivers high-definition orthodontic and study models with clinically acceptable color, appearance, and properties. It features a low shrinkage rate with a tolerance of 50 microns of deviation on a full arch. The final models benefit from great tensile properties and high hardness.
The prints can be used as both vacuum forming or working models. Read on for additional details.
Daylight Dental Model is soluble in water and soap. Final prints can be post-cured under UV in warm water (60°C). In this way, they will obtain their maximum mechanical properties and a crisp surface finish.
The resin sells in white. It comes in 1kg bottles with a drip stopper. It is sensitive to light, so it should be poured and stored away from direct light. Also, the bottle should always be closed when not in use. When completing a print, you can reuse the excess polymer after pouring it through a filter.
