PhotoCentric Daylight Flexible Resin Black is an elastic, visible-curing-light polymer. It can be used to produce bendable thin parts or squeezable hollow objects. It gives the model high flexibility and a soft, matte black finish. The final prints can be stretched, bent, and compressed without breaking. They will always return to their original shape.
This photosensitive polymer features high elongation and low tensile strength. It polymerizes when exposed to the visible light spectrum. It has been optimized for printing on the proprietary Liquid Crystal 10″, Liquid Crystal HR and Liquid Crystal HR2 resin 3D printers.
Flexible resin can be washed in both water and soap. You can clean the printed parts by leaving them in a hot tap water bath under direct sunlight for around 10 minutes. Continue reading for a complete review.
These F1 car tires have been realized using the Flexible black resin. The whole model has been printed on the LC 10″ 3D printer at a resolution of 100 microns. The wheel diameter is 5cm.
Flexible resin allows producing elastic parts with a good level of rigidity. It features low tensile strength and high elongation at break (60%). It produces accurate, soft objects with a polished surface finish.
Daylight Flexible Resin is available in 1kg bottles with a drip stopper. Due to its light sensitivity, the resin should be always kept away from direct sunlight, both when pouring or storing it. When completing a print, you might reuse the excess liquid after filtering it.
After post-curing a part printed with Daylight Flexible resin, you will get:
