Daylight Precision Model is a photosensitive material developed to produce highly detailed, accurate models. It is capable of reproducing fine details delivering a smooth grey surface finish.
When printing with the Precision Model resin, you will get polished parts with barely visible layers. The neutral grey is a great base for painting.
This resin is sensitive to visible light. This means it solidifies under the visible light emitted by the most common light source, including LCD screens. It perfectly prints on the PhotoCentric Liquid Crystal Precision 3D printers. It is characterized by fast curing time.
It is ideal for rapid prototyping and model making. You can use it to print figurines, jewelry, architectural models, and many more. Read on for additional information.
Look at this model. The level of detail and small features is insane!
Daylight Precision Model is a water-washable material that can be cleaned in water under UV exposure. For post-curing the cleaned parts, you just have to put them under UV light at 80 °C for 1 hour.
The resin cure profile has been optimized to deliver high-resolution details and acceptable shrinkage at fast exposures.
The Precision model resin sells in 1kg bottles with a non-drip cap. Keep the material away from direct sunlight either when printing or storing it. You can reuse the excess polymer after pouring it through a filter.
