Daylight Precision Mould has been created to produce high-res silicone rubber molds. It is a high-temperature resin that can withstand up to 180°C. Also, it features high tensile strength, great accuracy, and great pressure resistance, which makes it suitable for vulcanization.
This resin polymerizes when exposed to visible light, without requiring the use of harmful light engines, such as UV light sources. It has been designed for printing on the PhotoCentric Liquid Crystal Precision and Precision 1.5.
Mould Resin prints are characterized by high-definition, strength and clean surfaces. It is ideal for producing highly detailed jewelry parts and patterns in silicon rubber molds. Continue reading our review.
Precision Mould resin is photosensitive. You should pour and store it away from direct sunlight. The residual liquid can be reused after being properly filtered to remove solid lumps. Uncured resin easily dissolves in water and soap.
For proper cleaning, use the Photocentric’s Resin Cleaner and then wash the prints with water. Post cure the parts at 80°C under UV light for 1 hour to obtain the maximum mechanical performances.
The resin is packed into 1kg bottles with a drip stopper. Remember to always keep the bottle closed.
