PhotoCentric Daylight Pro Hard Resin Black is a photosensitive material that solidifies when exposed to visible light. This photopolymer is perfect for producing incompressible, very hard, durable parts. It can be printed using the proprietary LCD-based resin printer Liquid Crystal Pro. It is a safe material that doesn’t require the use of harmful UV light. It is subject to a minimal shrinkage rate.
Daylight Pro hard resin prints retain their shape under high force and pressure. They behave like acrylic and polyamide polymers featuring high hardness and almost no elongation. They show a glass-like black surface finish, crisp edges, and fine resolution.
PhotoCentric Daylight Pro Hard Resin Black is soluble in either tap water and soap. Final prints can be cleaned using hot tap water instead of chemicals. Just put them into a water bath under sunlight for 10 minutes.
Daylight Pro Hard Resin is perfect for manufacturing large-size, easy-to-use parts. Read our complete review.
The below-pictured black fish has been realized using the Daylight Hard black resin for the body and the Flexible red resin for the eyes. With a 100-micron layer resolution, it took 13 hours and 15 minutes of continuous printing.
When using PhotoCentric Daylight Pro Hard Resin you will get stiff parts with high tensile properties and low elongation. They will not bend or deflect. After a complete post-exposure, they will get a Shore D hardness of 86.
The resin cure profile has been optimized to deliver high-resolution details and acceptable shrinkage at fast exposures.
Pro Hard resin sells in 5kg bottles with a non-drip cap. Keep the material away from direct sunlight either when printing or storing it. You can reuse the excess liquid after pouring it through a filter.
