The QIDI Tech i Mate S comes stock with a 0.4 mm nozzle, giving you the best balance between speed and detail. It can also be equipped with a 0.2 mm nozzle to print complex objects with intricate geometry. The nozzle can be heated up to 250°C.
The print head runs on rods with linear bearings, making the design more simple and effective.
The QIDI Tech i Mate S can print with ABS, PLA, PVA, HIPS, TPU, Wood, and other 1.75 mm filaments.
Its extruder system comes with two nozzle cooling fans for printing with PLA-type materials. By cooling the model down, it reduces warping, stringing and, generally, makes for higher quality prints. The fan settings can be easily managed from the main control panel even while printing.
