The RIZE ONE is an APD, hybrid professional 3D printer. APD stands for Augmented Polymer Deposition, a Rize’s patented process that combines FDM technology with a material jetting system to fabricate isotropic, highly-resistant, end-use parts. The printer is equipped with a fully enclosed, heated chamber, which provides a stable printing environment for quality prints. The locking covers and the zero-VOC engineered material make it extremely safe and environmentally friendly. The printer comes with industrial class features, which allows for the most affordable and sustainable manufacturing of custom, functional parts. The automatic filament swap lets you continuously print for hours. ADP enables monochrome printing of text and images on the printed parts. Still, the printer ensures a low ownership cost. It perfectly suits offices, factory floors, and any other industrial space.
Companies like NHF and SI2 Technologies, Inc. have used it to produce manufacturing tools, jigs, and fixtures for industrial use. In addition, the Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center of the U.S. Army has adopted a Rize One 3D printer for the on-demand production of spare parts. Scroll down for a deeper review.
For example, NHF has installed a Rize One 3D printer in its manufacturing facility in Linwood. They have been using it for producing custom facade fixtures. Look at the picture. Each part shows clean edges and accurate profiles.
SI2 3D printed a 4” x 4” Vivaldi Notch test apparatus. Eventually, the 3D printed prototype will be scaled to full size for a military application.
The RIZE ONE is an APD 3D printer that can print layers at 125 microns. The surface finish is not as smooth as you get with the more expensive printers, but is more than enough for prototyping and professional use. The proprietary APD technology involves a jetting mechanism used to add a special release agent between the extruded layers. This allows for quick and easy support removal, granting minimal post-processing while preserving the surface quality. Jetting also enables the production of digitally augmented parts by applying text, images and digital information on the printed surfaces. The heated chamber grants high dimensional stability and optimal layer adhesion.
The RIZE ONE has a 0.4 mm nozzle, giving you the best balance between speed and detail.
The print head runs on rods with linear bearings, making the design more simple, lightweight and effective, all characteristics that are desirable in a 3D printer.
RIZE ONE prints with RIZIUM™ proprietary materials, including RIZIUM CARBON, RIZIUM ENDURA, RIZIUM ONE & BLACK and functional inks, such as the MARKING INK.
The extruder comes with a fan for printing with PLA-type materials. By cooling the model down, it reduces warping, stringing and, generally, makes for higher quality prints.
Unlike many FDM printers, the Raise3D Pro2 has a heated print bed and closed print chamber, which means it can reliably print with ABS-type materials.
The RIZE ONE only works with own-brand, chipped filament cartridges. This ensures quality, as all the branded materials go through a strict quality assurance process. Each cartridge is digitally encoded, thus the printer automatically detects the filament type and sets the right printing parameters.
The build area of 12.2 x 7.9 x 6 inches (310 x 200 x 152 mm) lets you print just about anything.
You can easily control the printer via a tethered PC or through the integrated LCD interface.
3D models can be printed from computer via Ethernet and USB.
The printer works with RIZE ONETOUCH ad RIZE CONNECT software. Both programs are available for Windows. Rize OneTouch is the company, self-developed slicer. You can import 3D models in multiple formats or you can use the Solidworks plug-in software to import CAD files. The slicer automatically generates support structures and detects surface errors. It also includes markup features to add text and graphics to the printed parts. Rize Connect is an application designed for remote monitoring and printing management.

RIZE ONE is available in white. Its stylish look makes it ideal for professional use.
The printer dimensions are 21.1 x 36 x 25.5 inches (535 x 915 x 647 mm). It weighs 134 lb (61 kg). The spool holder is mounted on the inside.
