DGSHAPE DE-3 is a desktop-sized rotary engraver that performs like a professional engraving machine. It can engrave and scribe items with a software resolution of 0.004” (0.01 mm) /step and a mechanical resolution of 0.00125 mm/step. The advanced laser-point technology makes for precision engraving. Also, the additional nose cones reduce the risk of scratches delivering consistently accurate results.
The DE-3 relies on a 20,000 rpm DC brushless spindle motor and a 3-axis stepper motor. It can reach an operating speed of up to 60 mm/sec.
The DGSHAPE DE-3 can process brass, aluminum, copper, plastic, wood, glass, acrylic, and other materials.
The rotary engraver supports a maximum material thickness of 40 mm. When using the nose cone, the maximum thickness drops down to 38 mm.
