FreeScan X3 is a professional, handheld 3D laser scanner. It has an accuracy of up to 0.03 mm, a resolution of 0.1 mm, and a volume precision of 0.02 mm + 0.1 mm/m (0.020 mm + 0.025 mm/m with DigiMetric). It is able to perform up to 240, 000 scans/s within a scan depth of 250 mm.
The compatibility with the DigiMetric 3D photogrammetric system allows measuring large workpieces with extreme accuracy and reliability. It is a useful integration for speeding up the process and reducing the risk of data delamination and cumulative errors.
The device has a single scan range of 280 x 250 mm and a global scan range of 100-6000 mm. It works at a distance of 300 mm.
By moving the scanner around the object you will benefit from an almost unlimited scan area.
Controlling the scanner is extremely simple. You’ll only have to plug it into a computer and operate it through the integrated buttons.
The proprietary 3D scan software runs on Windows operating systems. It exports 3D data in a variety of file formats (STL, OBJ, ASC, DGM, etc.). It is compatible with 3D printing and CAD software alike.
