The Tronxy X3S is a personal FDM 3D printer kit, which comes mostly assembled. This open-frame printer is quite simple to assemble and to operate. You might start print within 1 hour. The aluminum structure makes the X3S a solid build. It is a valid upgrade of the smaller X3 printer solving the critical issue related to the design of its print bed carriage. The X3S is faster and more accurate and boasts a large volume capacity. It delivers reasonably good prints at a cheap price point being the most affordable, large scale printer of the Tronxy family. With some upgrades and mods, it is capable of producing high-quality results making it ideal for those who are looking for a low-cost, large-format printer. It is commonly used by hobbyists and students in a wide range of fields to print a variety of 3D models. Keep on reading for a full review.
One user printed a nice lamp made of PLA and PET-G at 0.2 layer height with 20% infill and no support. Look how nice it is.

The Tronxy X3S comes with an aluminum heated print bed, which makes the machine suitable for printing with ABS-type materials.
This ABS-made screw has been printed at a 200-micron layer resolution.
To ensure high reproducibility, we recommend installing an enclosed print chamber. This way the print quality would not be affected by temperature fluctuations as a result of drafts and other factors.
The Tronxy X3S features an open material system making it compatible with 3rd party consumables. It prints with 1.75 mm filament, providing you with a wide choice of materials.
The build area of 11.8 x 11.8 x 15.7 inches (300 x 300 x 400 mm) lets you print just about anything.
For example, one user 3D printed this massive bluetooth speaker.
