Ultimaker silver ABS is a 3D printing material formulated to produce strong parts with optimum interlayer adhesion, low warping rate, and high-temperature resistance. Unlike common ABS consumables, Ultimaker ABS is easier to print.
Tough and sturdy, it features high hardness, high impact strength and good flexural strength. It can withstand temperatures of up to 85°C. With a good bed adhesion, it allows printing high-quality parts with a level of detail comparable to that of injection molded items. It has an appealing aesthetics and results in a matte surface finish.
Ultimaker silver ABS is ideal for producing functional prototypes, end-use tools and functional parts with good mechanical strength. It can be dual extruded with different ABS colors and Ultimaker Breakaway support filament. Its diameter measures 2.85mm. It can be used with most of the FDM 3D printers on the market. Nevertheless, its special formulation has been optimized for printing on the proprietary Ultimaker S5, Ultimaker 3 series, and Ultimaker 2+ series of 3D printers.
