The Wanhao GR 1 (Gadoso Revolution 1) is a high-precision DLP/LCD 3D printer produced by the popular Wanhao. This desktop-sized professional resin 3D printer is an advanced version of the Wanhao D7 Plus. Powerful yet affordable, the GR 1 comes with a larger active build volume of 140 x 78 x 180 mm. It lets you create parts with a resolution of 54 microns.
The Wanhao GR 1 uses a direct UV MSLA LCD printing technology. It is equipped with a 6.3-inch 2K LCD panel. The custom-made UV light array has 9% extra power than standard resin printers. It relies on Uniformtrix technology, which grants up to 89% optical uniformity without distortion.
Unlike its predecessor, the GR 1 features an improved and more durable metal construction with enhanced linear guides, dual Z-axis rails, and an openable window. It comes already assembled to start printing just after unboxing. It includes a radiator fan and a built-in power supply for safe use. The D7 Plus was easy to use, the GR1 is easier. It only requires a one-time 4-point level calibration and benefits from a bunch of useful features, including a resin level indicator, a power failure recovery function, carbon filter purifiers, and a smart touch panel. The 150W UV LEDs can be easily replaced to refresh the printer’s power.
