The Zyltech Carbon Fiber Composite PLA filament is a quality 3D printing material produced by ZYLtech Engineering, a Texas-based 3D printing business. It is an entirely biodegradable and recyclable material that offers remarkable mechanical properties. This particular filament has been enriched with short carbon fibers and will make your models extremely strong and durable, as compared to the ones made with other PLA filaments. It is, however, a little more difficult to print than an ordinary PLA and should be printed using a hardened nozzle (e.g. nozzles made of stainless steel, hardened steel, etc.) in order to prevent clogging, and at 220 - 235°C.
The material offers astonishingly good toughness and strength. It is characterized by a good round shape and an accurate yet uniform diameter of 1.75mm. It runs out smoothly streamlining the 3D printing process, giving your model a matte yet slightly shiny black surface finish.
