The FLUX HEXA is a professional laser cutting and engraving machine featuring a 60W CO₂ laser tube with a wavelength of 10640 nm. The laser beam is directed with a system of three reflective mirrors, and the optical focus lens inside the laser head focuses it to the diameter of about 0.2 mm to create a precise high-power beam capable of cutting through a 10-mm acrylic or wooden plate in one pass. You can also acquire an optional 1.5" short focus lens add-on to shrink down the focal point and get the impressive 1000 dpi resolution.

Equipped with the fast Cortex M4 core chip, the HEXA reaches an incredible engraving speed of 900 mm/s. The autofocus function and electrically elevated build platform allow for fast and precise automatic adjustment of the working height. To facilitate cleaning, the HEXA is equipped with a built-in tray for collecting waste while cutting. You only need to pull it out afterwards and remove the residues.

The FLUX HEXA was designed with safety in mind. Once the lid is open during operation, it automatically pauses and resumes working only when closed again. The built-in safety sensors warn the user in case of an unplanned movement, overheat, or fire. Shock absorbers on both front and rear lids ensure more safety and convenience while operating the machine. The HEXA is equipped with an efficient exhaust fan that effectively removes hazardous fumes and odors, and an air pump preventing the material from catching fire.

Thanks to its powerful laser and high operating speed, the FLUX HEXA is compatible with a wide range of materials both for cutting and engraving.

Working area

The large working area of 730 x 410 x 125 mm makes the HEXA a professional tool ideal for an engraving business as it allows for any project regardless of size as well as for batch production of smaller objects.

Machine controls

The FLUX HEXA is operated via a 7" touchscreen with a clear and well-organized user interface. The status bar on the display shows the current temperature, the water flow in the cooling system, the lid and tray opening/closing status, and the network connection type.

There are four ways to connect the HEXA to a PC, which are Wi-Fi, Ethernet, USB connection, and direct connection.

Working tasks can be transferred to the machine either via the Beam Studio software or using a USB stick.

The built-in 2 MP camera covers almost the entire working area and allows for the live preview, so that you can precisely place the material and be sure of the result.

Software

The machine works with the proprietary Beam Studio software which provides all the necessary editing tools and supports a number of vector and raster file formats, including JPG, PNG, SVG, DXF, AI, and PDF. Beam Studio is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux. There is also a mobile app called Beam Go.

For more sophisticated projects you can use a variety of design software, namely Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Affinity Design, Autodesk AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, Sketch, Corel Draw, and Rhinoceros.
