The Anycubic Photon M3 Max is the first Anycubic large-format resin 3D printer and one of the most affordable models with large build volumes in the market. The machine is designed for precise reliable printing of big models, featuring dual-guided Z-axis with a precision ball screw mechanism. To give full access to the build chamber, the printer’s enclosure is made of two parts, allowing the user to slide out the front one.
One of the key features of the printer is Anycubic’s new automatic resin filling system. A bottle of resin covered with a special cap with hoses attached to it is mounted on the back side of the printer. The air pump builds pressure in the bottle, and the system automatically refills the vat when two metal prongs detect that the resin level is low. The cap diameter fits Anycubic resin bottles. This feature is especially helpful when it comes to printing really big, as the resin vat volume can not be enough to complete a print.
The Photon M3 Max is equipped with a 13.6" monochrome LCD screen with the resolution of 6480 x 3600 and printing accuracy of 46 microns. The screen is covered with an anti-scratch protective film. An array of 84 LEDs is used in the Anycubic LighTurbo light source system for strong and uniform light exposure over the entire build area. Using such a powerful light matrix allows for pretty fast printing with a maximum speed of 60 mm/h. The UV power level can be adjusted in the menu.
Among other useful features there are a laser engraved aluminum alloy build plate ensuring perfect first layer adhesion, and a new matt frosted FEP vat film designed for easier peeling off the cured layers from the bottom of the vat.

The Photon M3 Max uses 405 nm photosensitive resins for printing. As the machine is an open material system, the user has a wide choice of various resin types no matter the manufacturer. The automatic resin filling system is compatible with proprietary Anycubic bottles and greatly adds to the convenience of printing large parts.
The Anycubic Photon M3 Max is a large-format printer with a huge build volume of 300 x 298 x 164 mm, which is enough for printing sizable models as a whole piece or batches of smaller parts simultaneously.
The Photon M3 Max is operated via a responsive 4.3" color LCD touchscreen with a well-organized UI common for Anycubic machines. A USB stick is used for uploading printing files.
The printer comes with the proprietary Anycubic Photon Workshop slicer which is easy to use and provides all the necessary editing tools, such as adding support structures or hollowing the model.
