The Craftbot 3 is a professional dual-extruder FDM 3D printer manufactured by CraftUnique. It features a sturdy, closed metal frame, an all-metal hotend and an independent dual extrusion system for effective printing with high-performance materials. It produces high-quality results while ensuring a seamless 3D printing experience. It includes a set of quality-of-life features difficult to find in similar-priced machines.

Craftbot 3 is a secure and reliable 3D printer. It comes with a lockable door and a PETG dome cover for safe and convenient use. The closed-frame keeps the printing temperature constant making for higher printing accuracy and repeatability. The dome includes an activated carbon and HEPA filter. The printer is equipped with a dual extrusion system and a detachable, heatable bed for easier print removal. Thanks to the IDEX system, the two print heads can work independently producing two different objects at once (parallel mode), two sides of the same item (mirror mode), or complex parts with PVA-made supports. The printer is engineered with an auto-resume printing option and a filament monitoring system reducing the risk of printing failures. The device is Wi-Fi enabled, giving you the possibility to connect to CraftApp and CraftWare/PrintWare. A customizable LED status indicator keeps you informed about the printing status. The printer has been used by many professionals, including the Arrabona Racing Team. They used it to 3D print some functional parts for their racing cars.

Print quality

The Craftbot 3 is an FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 50 microns. This way you can produce parts with smooth exterior surfaces. The auto-resume feature reduces the risk of printing failures caused by power outages. The filament monitoring system alerts you when the filament is about to run out, giving you the possibility to replace the spool and restart the print job. It can also detect and automatically solve filament jams.

The parallel printing mode lets you print two objects at a time, while the mirror mode lets you print two sides of the same product. Both modes speed up the printing process maximizing your productivity.

The extruder comes with a cooling fan. It enables higher quality prints reducing warping, stringing and, generally, making for higher quality prints. This effective model cooling technology lets you accurately print even the smallest objects.

Such quality printing is possible thanks to the extruder’s fan. By cooling the model down, it reduces warping, stringing and, generally, makes for higher quality prints.

The Craftbot 3 has an all-metal hotend and a heated print bed, which makes it suitable for printing with ABS-type materials. The hotend heats up to 300°C, being compatible with special filaments. To ensure high reproducibility, we recommend installing an enclosed print chamber. This way the print quality would not be affected by temperature fluctuations as a result of drafts and other factors.

The dual extrusion system lets you produce multi-colored parts with ease. Just look at this cool 3D model. It has been printed with Starlight and Granite filaments.
