It comes mostly assembled, you need to put just some components in place and you’re done. The printer is easy-to-use and shows a remarkable build quality. The CraftBot XL is an FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 50 microns. This way you can produce parts with smooth exterior surfaces. The pause and resume option prevents printing failures in case of power outages or filament run-out.

The CraftBot XL comes with a kit of 4 MK8 copper nozzles of 0.25, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.8 mm in diameter. You can choose the size that best fits your design needs. For faster prints, you might opt for a 0.8 mm nozzle, while for more accurate, fine details the 0.25 nozzle will be the best solution.

The print head runs on rails, which makes printing reliable, fast and precise. The linear rails and the improved bearings enable quieter operation and higher accuracy.
CraftBot XL prints with PLA, ABS, HIPS, PETG and other materials.
The extruder temperature ranges from 180 to 260°C. It comes with three fans for printing with PLA-type materials. By cooling the model down, it reduces warping, stringing and, generally, makes for higher quality prints, as in the case of this complex geometry.

CraftBot XL has a heated print bed, which makes it suitable for printing with ABS-type materials.
To ensure high reproducibility, we recommend installing an enclosed print chamber. This way the print quality would not be affected by temperature fluctuations as a result of drafts and other factors.
The CraftBot XL prints with 1.75 mm filament, providing you with a wide choice of materials and more design possibilities.
The build area of 12 x 8 x 17 inches (300 x 200 x 440 mm) lets you print almost every object with fewer joins or no joins at all.

You can control the printer by connecting your PC via USB cable or you can operate it directly through the built-in, color LCD touchscreen. Its intuitive and well-organized menu keeps you constantly updated about the printing process. A dedicated App for both iOS and Android devices will let you comfortably start, pause and resume prints and change settings whenever you want. You can even launch your print using the pen drive packed in the box.
3D models can be printed from computer via USB cable, USB pen drive and WiFi.
The printer works with the in-house CraftWare software, a free-to-download slicer that offers the possibility to adjust the printing settings to your liking. It lets you import 3D models in OBJ, STL, and CWPRJ formats. You will be able to print in three simple steps: load the model > slice it > print. The software is available for Windows 7 and above, OS X and Linux.
