Print quality

The Emake3D MegaLabs M1 can achieve 250 µm printing accuracy with a minimum layer height of 0.05 mm. This way, one can produce high-quality models with smooth exterior surfaces and fine detailing.

The industrial-grade 4K DLP optical engine with improved design boasts a light intensity of 2.7 mW/cm² and provides long service life of more than 20,000 hours.

To ensure high movement accuracy and reliability, the machine is engineered with a high-precision ball screw dual-axis linear guide module with a repeatability of 0.001 mm. In addition, the motor adopts a closed-loop drive system and has a power-off protection function.

Thanks to the leveling-free design of the build platform, there is no leveling required for the MegaLabs M1. One can easily get to printing immediately after turning on the machine. Plus, the embedded indicator will make it clear when the platform is level at a glance.

The integrated 160W  thermostatic system is capable of maintaining constant temperature for stable printing with high-viscosity resins, making for outstanding quality of printouts regardless of ambient conditions.

For a safe and comfortable user experience, the MegaLabs M1 is built with a dual air purification and filtration system that effectively absorbs and eliminates unpleasant resin odors. Due to the modular design of the machine, it can be easily replaced.

Materials

As an open material system, the Emake3D MegaLabs M1 offers a variety of materials to choose from. It is compatible with both self-developed and 3rd party 405 nm resins.

To ensure a more efficient and streamlined workflow, Emake3D have designed an automatic resin feeding system for the MegaLabs M1 that keeps resin amount at a constant level throughout the printing process. It stops only if the printer runs out of material. This effectively eliminates print failures from insufficient resin during printing.

Apart from this, the machine implements the automatic resin recovery function, which stops when the resin barrel is full. All this leads to smart material management and cost efficiency of production with the MegaLabs M1 model.

Build volume

The Emake3D MegaLabs M1 offers a massive printing area of 533 x 300 x 550 mm (21 x 11.8 x 21.7 in) that lets you make a single huge model as a whole or simultaneously print multiple smaller ones with exceptional detailing. Combined with a decent printing speed of up to 30 mm/h, the MegaLabs M1 is a great choice for mass production.

Printer controls and software

The Emake3D MegaLabs M1 can be controlled via a built-in 7" high-definition touch screen with a clear menu structure and user-friendly interface. Ergonomically designed, it can be folded and rotated freely at 90º. Data input is performed via USB.

In terms of slicing software, the MegaLabs M1 3D printer works with the most commonly used modeling and slicing programs like CHITUBOX, Voxeldance, PrusaSlicer, Lychee, Materialise Magics, and Workshop. Support for even more third-party slicers is expected in the future.

Look and feel

The Emake3D MegaLabs M1 is available in matte black. The printer’s doors are equipped with transparent orange windows. Due to 360° rotating moving wheels, the machine is easy to move around. Its stylish and ergonomic design makes the MegaLabs M1 ideal for a number of professional and personal applications.

The outer dimensions of the device are 780 x 560 x 1750 mm (30.7 x 22 x 68.9 in). It weighs approximately 158 kg (348 lbs).
