The FlashForge Guider 2 is an FDM professional 3D printer. Targeted to pro users, it’s successfully used in prototyping and small-scale manufacturing. It is easy to use and comes with a removable print bed, a resume printing function, assisted “auto” leveling, filament run-out detection, and an intuitive touchscreen. It also features an innovative extrusion system. It was used to print a wide range of cool models, including sculptures, architectures, home decoration and fabric embellishments. The FlashForge Guider 2 is an FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 100 microns. The surface finish is not as smooth as you get with the more expensive printers, but is more than enough for prototyping and household use. However, the upgraded extruder shows an encased air supply system which enhances printing smoothness.

The FlashForge Guider 2 has a 0.4 mm nozzle, giving you the best balance between speed and detail. It is an upgraded version of the Guider 1 nozzle ensuring better airflow and improved results. It handles bridging in a great way just like in the case of this great Eiffel tower.

FlashForge Guider 2 prints with ABS, PLA, PVA and other materials.
The extruder comes with a fan for printing with PLA-type materials. By cooling the model down, it reduces warping, stringing and, generally, makes for higher quality prints.

Unlike many FDM printers, the FlashForge Guider 2 has a removable heated print bed and closed print chamber, which means it can reliably print with ABS-type materials. The enclosure is made of an ultra-strong ABS material. It keeps the heat improving the printer performance with high-temperature filaments.
ABS-made models are more durable and strong of the PLA ones. For this reason, this type of filaments is often adopted to produce functional parts and 3D printer upgrades. Look at these steel stepper motor vibration dampeners and heat sink printed for an Ender 3 Pro.
