The IC3D Virago 700 is a professional IDEX FFF 3D printer for fast and consistent 24/7 printing. It combines high travel speed of up to 500 mm/s with the robust mechanism and great material flexibility. Print quality

The IC3D Virago 700 is an IDEX FFF 3D printer that can produce parts with smooth exterior surfaces. It offers several printing modes depending on the user’s purposes, including Parallel and Mirrored printing.

Thanks to the 750 lb steel weldment frame, THK linear actuators, NSK bearings, igus flex cabling and energy chain, the device boasts increased motion stability, and therefore better printing precision. The PEX print surface ensures superb adhesion for higher quality outputs.

Materials

The IC3D Virago 700 uses 1.75 and 2.85 mm filaments, providing you with a wide choice of consumables no matter the manufacturer.

Due to the Independent Dual Extruders system, the printer supports various print modes, including Dual material/Color/Soluble support printing. The extruders can reach the maximum temperature of 500 °C, which enables one to work with flexible, abrasive, and engineering-grade materials. Overall, the IC3D Virago 700 is compatible with ABS, ASA, PETG, PLA, UV PETG, PC Alloys, PolyHex, PolyHex-CF, Flexibles (TPU, TPC), Nylon, Thermally Conductive Nylon, High Temp ABS, Glass Fiber Composites, and Carbon Fiber Composites.

Build volume

The massive build area of 24 x 28 x 31 inches (600 x 700 x 785 mm) lets you print just about anything, from a single large model to several smaller ones produced simultaneously.

Printer controls

The IC3D Virago 700 is equipped with a color touchscreen providing a smooth and intuitive control over the printing process. The printer supports Ethernet connectivity making for a remote operation.

The manufacturer recommends using the Simplify3D slicing software. It is a professional yet easy-to-use program able to process and analyze 3D models, plate, slice, and create ready-to-print files with impressive speed. Moreover, the Simplify3D is capable of overall monitoring and realistic pre-print simulations.

The software supports STL, OBJ, and 3MF file formats. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu operating systems.
