Print quality

The IEMAI3D FAST-JET-1500 is an industrial-grade FGF 3D printer that can print layers at 1–4 mm height (recommended). This way one can produce large objects such as furniture pieces with relatively smooth exterior surfaces, which is more than enough for most applications of life-size models. The machine is engineered with an efficient, precise feeding system that allows steady and uniform extrusion at a fast print speed of up to 6 kg/hour. A reliable servo motor is used to effectively improve the accuracy of printhead motion and extrusion.

The FAST-JET-1500 pellet 3D printer is equipped with a single extruder with the maximum hotend temperature up to 500 °C. Liquid cooling effectively isolates the extruder components, while three heating zones improve the final quality of the printed parts. Due to the modular extrusion system design, the machine provides simple maintenance.

The IEMAI3D FAST-JET-1500 comes stock with a 2.0 mm nozzle. It also supports additional nozzle diameters from 4.0 to 10.0 mm, which ensures wider project diversity.

For consistent print quality and user convenience, the FAST-JET-1500 is equipped with a removable aluminum build plate with inner and outer heating zones. Thanks to this solution, the printer produces high-quality sizable models with great adhesion and a smooth, fine bottom.

Materials

The IEMAI3D FAST-JET-1500 features an open material system and supports the majority of 1.5–4 mm pellets available on the market, including flexible, composite, and engineering-grade materials, such as PLA, CF-PLA, ABS, ASA, ASA-GF, TPU, PETG, PA, CF-PA, PC, CF-PC, PP, PEEK, PEKK, and more.

Pellet printing provides the user with a possibility of rapid material change, allowing for the combination of different plastics in a single project. Printing with pellets, especially made of recycled plastics, is not only faster but also more efficient in terms of material cost and post-processing (sanding, drilling, etc.).

Equipped with a 120 °C heatable platform and fully enclosed build chamber, the FAST-JET-1500 model provides reduced risk of warping and stringing as well as higher reliability when printing with advanced consumables. The closed-box design also reduces printing noises making for quiet operation.

Build volume

The IEMAI3D FAST-JET-1500 3D printer offers a massive build area of 59 x 59 x 59 inches (1500 x 1500 x 1500 mm). This lets one produce fairly large models as a whole or a wide variety of medium-sized objects in batches without the need of splitting them, which makes for time-saving and increased productivity. Printer controls and software

The IEMAI3D FAST-JET-1500 can be controlled via an integrated 10.1" color touchscreen with a clear menu structure and intuitive user interface. Data input is performed via USB, Ethernet (LAN), or Wi-Fi.

Apart from local network transmission, the FAST-JET-1500 model also supports cloud monitoring and remote control from mobile devices. The machine comes with 1 year free cloud functionality for a single account, with an annual renewal ($150).

The FAST-JET-1500 3D printer comes bundled with the proprietary IEMAI 3D EXPERT software based on OrcaSlicer. The program features project-oriented workflows, optimized printing parameters, and user-friendly graphical interface allowing for effortless printing procedures. It supports STL, OBJ, and 3MF file formats and runs on Windows 10/11 (64-bit versions only). Apart from this, the printer is compatible with the popular and free Cura slicer.
