Print quality

The IEMAI3D MAGIC-HT-L is a large-format industrial FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 50 micron, a novel high resolution when printing huge industrial parts. The machine is engineered with an efficient, precise feeding system which allows steady and uniform extrusion at a fast print speed of up to 150 mm/s.

The MAGIC-HT-L model is equipped with a dual extrusion system with the maximum hotend temperature up to 450 °C for the left nozzle and 275 °C for the right nozzle. Due to the modular extruder design, the printer provides simple maintenance and supports effective printing with water soluble materials.

The machine comes stock with a couple of 0.4 mm nozzles. It also supports a broad set of diameters ranging from 0.6 to 0.8 and 1.0 mm, which ensures wider project diversity.

To further ensure the print quality and user convenience, the IEMAI3D MAGIC-HT-L comes with the detachable carbon fiber build plate. Thanks to this solution, it takes only a few seconds to remove the printed models with a smooth and fine bottom.

Materials

The IEMAI3D MAGIC-HT-L features an open material system and supports any third-party 1.75 mm filament, including flexible, engineering-grade and high-performance materials, such as PEEK, CF-PEEK, PEKK, CF-PEKK, PEI, PPSU, PC, CF-PC, PA, CF-PA, GF-PA, ASA, ABS, CF-ABS, PETG, HIPS, TPU, PLA, CF-PLA, PVA, and more.

Equipped with a 150 °C heatable platform and fully enclosed chamber capable of keeping a stable temperature of up to 90 °C, the machine provides reduced risk of warping and stringing as well as higher reliability when printing with advanced consumables. The closed-box design also reduces printing noises making for quiet operation.

Build volume

The IEMAI3D MAGIC-HT-L 3D printer offers a capacious build area of 12.2 x 12.2 x 18.9 inches (310 x 310 x 480 mm). This lets one produce a single large model or a wide variety of small-to-medium sized prints in batches without the need of splitting them, which makes for time-saving and increased productivity.

Printer controls and software

The IEMAI3D MAGIC-HT-L can be controlled via an integrated 3.5" full-color LCD touchscreen with a clear menu structure and intuitive user interface. Data input is performed via SD card, Ethernet (LAN), or Wi-Fi. With an optional camera, it is possible to remotely monitor the printing process.

The machine also has a separate panel for temperature settings.

The MAGIC-HT-L 3D printer comes bundled with the proprietary IEMAI 3D EXPERT software based on OrcaSlicer. The program features project-oriented workflows, optimized printing parameters, and user-friendly graphical interface allowing for effortless printing procedures. It supports STL, OBJ, and 3MF file formats and runs on Windows (64-bit version only). Apart from this, the printer is compatible with such popular slicers as Cura and Simplify3D.

Look and feel

The IEMAI3D MAGIC-HT-L is available in white with black trimmings. Its stylish look and ergonomic design make it ideal for a variety of advanced industrial applications.

The machine dimensions are 27.6 x 21.3 x 31.1 inches (702 x 542 x 790 mm). It weighs approximately 168 lb (76 kg).
