Print quality

The IEMAI3D YM-NT-1000 is an industrial dual-extruder FDM 3D printer that can print layers at 50 micron, a novel high resolution when printing huge industrial parts. The machine is engineered with an efficient, precise feeding system which allows steady and uniform extrusion at a fast print speed of up to 150 mm/s, with 1000 mm/s² acceleration and the maximum filament flow of 16.5 mm³/s.

The YM-NT-1000 model is equipped with two air-cooled extruders with the maximum hotend temperature up to 300 °C. Due to the modular extruder design, the printer provides simple maintenance and quick nozzle replacement making for a streamlined workflow. The machine comes stock with two 0.6 mm nozzles (0.4 mm option is also available) made of copper alloy (used for pure materials) and hardened steel (for fiber-reinforced materials).

Thanks to IDEX functionality, the two print heads of the YM-NT-1000 can work independently printing two different parts or the same part symmetrically at once, including complex models requiring supports. In addition, dual nozzle XYZ distance calibration ensures precise extruder positioning and quality of the printed models.

To further ensure the best possible accuracy of the printouts, the IEMAI3D YM-NT-1000 comes with the auto-leveling function that helps to compensate for any imbalances of the platform and highly increases the chances of successful prints.

For consistent print quality and user convenience, the YM-NT-1000 3D printer is engineered with a heated FR4 build plate with vacuum absorption. Thanks to this solution, the machine produces high-quality sizable models with great adhesion and a smooth, fine bottom.

Materials

The IEMAI3D YM-NT-1000 features an open material system and supports any third-party 1.75 mm filament, including flexible, support, composite, and engineering-grade materials, such as PC, PA, ASA, ABS, TPU, PETG, PLA, CF-PC, CF-PA, GF-PA, CF-ABS, CF-ASA, CF-PETG, CF-PLA, E-Water, E-Remove, and more.

Equipped with a 120 °C heatable platform and fully enclosed chamber capable of keeping a stable temperature of up to 60 °C, the machine provides reduced risk of warping and stringing as well as higher reliability when printing with advanced consumables. The closed-box design also reduces printing noises making for quiet operation. With a built-in filament box capable of maintaining 60 °C temperature and synchronized feeding control, the YM-NT-1000 model offers efficient conditions for material storage and use.

Build volume

The IEMAI3D YM-NT-1000 offers a large build area of 39.4 x 39.4 x 39.4 inches (1000 x 1000 x 1000 mm). This lets one produce fairly large models as a whole or a wide variety of small-to-medium sized prints in batches without the need of splitting them, which makes for time-saving and increased productivity.

Printer controls and software

The IEMAI3D YM-NT-1000 can be controlled via an integrated 10.1" color touchscreen with a clear menu structure and intuitive user interface. Data input is performed via USB, Ethernet (LAN), or Wi-Fi. Apart from local network transmission, the YM-NT-1000 model also supports cloud monitoring and control. The machine comes with 1 year free cloud functionality for a single account, with an annual renewal ($150).

The YM-NT-1000 3D printer comes bundled with the proprietary IEMAI 3D EXPERT software based on OrcaSlicer. The program features project-oriented workflows, optimized printing parameters, and user-friendly graphical interface allowing for effortless printing procedures. It supports STL, OBJ, and 3MF file formats and runs on Windows 10/11 (64-bit versions only). Apart from this, the printer is compatible with such popular slicers as Cura, S3D, and PrusaSlicer.
