The Intamsys ABS-HS achieves melt flow index values ranging from 9 to 24 g/10min, delivering up to 250% higher flow rate compared to standard ABS materials. This increased melt flow rate enables higher printing speeds while maintaining excellent mechanical properties, with tensile strength values of 33.3±0.8 MPa and impact strength of 12.6±1.1 kJ/m². The material demonstrates superior interlayer adhesion and dimensional stability with reduced warpage characteristics compared to conventional ABS formulations.
The optimized molecular weight and enhanced flow properties enable rapid melting and cooling during high-speed printing, resulting in lower temperature gradients and reduced internal stress in printed parts. Heat distortion temperature reaches 88 °C with excellent thermal resistance properties. The material maintains low shrinkage rates between 0.5–0.7%, minimizing warping and deformation during the printing process.
The ABS-HS filament serves automotive applications including dashboard components, interior trim panels, and functional prototypes requiring impact resistance and dimensional stability. Manufacturing applications encompass tooling, fixtures, and mechanical parts demanding high strength and durability. Electronics applications feature enclosures and housings requiring excellent surface finish and chemical resistance properties. The material’s acetone compatibility enables post-processing for smooth surface finishes and layer line elimination.
The Intamsys ABS-HS 1.75 mm filament is sold in 1 kg / 3 kg spools. It comes vacuum-sealed with desiccant.
