The Intamsys PEI 1010 utilizes SABIC’s ULTEM™ 1010 resin to deliver ultra-high-performance 3D printing capabilities. This amorphous polyetherimide achieves a glass transition temperature of 217 °C and maintains mechanical properties at continuous use temperatures up to 170 °C. The material demonstrates tensile strength of 90 MPa and flexural modulus of 3427 MPa, according to standardized testing.

PEI 1010 exhibits thermal deformation temperature reaching 200 °C, which is higher than . The material achieves UL94 V-0 flame retardancy rating at 1.5mm thickness with low smoke emission characteristics. Chemical resistance properties include resistance to automotive fluids, fully halogenated hydrocarbons, alcohols, and aqueous solutions. In addition, the material withstands multiple sterilization methods including steam autoclave at 134 °C for over 1000 cycles, vaporized hydrogen peroxide gas plasma for over 300 cycles, gamma radiation, electron beam, X-ray, ethylene oxide, and UV-C sterilization. These sterilization capabilities make PEI 1010 suitable for medical device applications requiring repeated sterilization cycles.
