The Raise3D Industrial PETG ESD is an ESD-safe thermoplastic designed to dissipate any electrostatic discharge from the part surface. This can be critical for stable operation of sensitive electronic devices or when working in a potentially hazardous environment with a risk of explosive gasses in the air. The filament is made of PETG (polyethylene terephthalate glycol) filled with conductive carbon nanotubes for electrical surface resistivity and ESD-safety.

Apart from being ESD-safe, the Industrial PETG ESD filament features excellent chemical resistance as well as the ability to withstand low and high temperatures, which makes it a good choice for outdoor applications. It is also an easily printable material with good layer adhesion and high impact resistance of the printed parts. The filament is perfectly suitable for manufacturing of housing and casing for electronic devices, jigs and fixtures, or industrial equipment in automotive, aerospace, electrical and electronics, semiconductor, and other industries where ESD protection is important.

For better interlayer adhesion and ESD properties, the manufacturer recommends printing with higher infill density and minimal wall thickness of 1.5 mm. Adding a brim or raft is recommended for proper first layer adhesion. The Raise3D can be used as a support material.

Recommended printing parameters:

  • Nozzle temperature: 260–280 °C
  • Bed temperature: 70–80 °C
  • Layer height: 0.1–0.25 mm
  • Printing speed: 20–80 mm/s
  • Cooling fan: off
  • Drying temperature: 60 °C for 6–12 hours
