The PRO Base has been used to reverse engineer a propeller. Due to its shiny surfaces, the propeller has been covered with a matte spray.

The RangeVision PRO Base is a professional blue-light 3D scanner with multiple scanning areas. It is engineered with a 2-Mpix camera with a resolution of 0.19 to 0.03 mm. Its scanning accuracy depends on the field of view selected.

Specifically, by selecting the FOV of 460 x 345 x 345mm, the PRO Base can scan parts with an accuracy of 0.06 mm and a 3D resolution of 0.19 mm at a working distance of 900 mm.
The FOV of 300 x 225 x 225 mm has an accuracy of 0.03 mm and a resolution of 0.12 mm at a working distance of 520 mm.
With both the fields of view of 133 x 100 x 100 and 66 x 50 x 50 mm, you can get an accuracy of 0.018 mm and a 3D resolution of 0.06 and 0.03 mm at a distance of 350 mm.

The scanner is controlled via a USB-paired computer.
